BARITE, Frizington, Cumberland, England. A long, compound, terminated crystal or group of crystals in parallel position of that elusive shade of yellow-green that is so typical of Frizington. There is a little dolomite present. On a custom made base by Alec Madoff, mountmaker to the American Museum of Natural History. 4-3/8x1-3/4x1-1/4. $1,250.
