DIOPTASE in and on CALCITE, Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia. Superb oriented minute dioptase crystals are on and in sharp crystals of calcite. This particular habit of these two minerals together came from the mine for a very short period in the 1970s and this is the nicest I have had. Measures 5-1/2x3-1/4x2-1/2 inches. Price is $10,000.
