TOPAZ and SMOKY QUARTZ, Alabaschka, near Mursinka, Ural Mountains, Russia. An important, old-time Russian classic that I sold years ago and recently repurchased. It consists of a large mass of terminated, bluish topaz crystals to 1-1/4 inches with several smoky quartz crystals intergrown with the topaz. This type of specimen only rarely comes to the marketplace. Measures 5-1/2x3x2 inches. Price is $15,000.
